Volunteer your time
We are an organization of people for people. Whether it be administratively in our office, at a special event, becoming a member of a fundraising committee, or many other opportunities, we welcome and are thankful for any assistance you can provide. As our volunteer needs change frequently, please email us at [email protected] for current opportunities.
Six ways to get involved
Every volunteer role is matched to real need. Tell us what you love doing and we’ll find the right fit.
Event volunteer
Help run our annual awards event, advocacy days at the Capitol, and family workshops. Flexible commitment, big impact.
Legislative advocate
Join our policy team in sending action alerts, attending hearings, and talking to legislators during Colorado’s legislative session.
Admin & pro-bono skills
Graphic designers, writers, photographers, attorneys, accountants — if you have a professional skill to donate, we can put it to work.
Ready to help?
Reach out and let us know what you are interested in. Our volunteer coordinator will follow up within a week to set up a brief conversation.

We value every volunteer hour and work hard to make it rewarding. Here's what we promise in exchange for your time.
- A meaningful role that matches your skills and schedule
- Clear expectations and the training you need to succeed
- Real connection with people with IDD, families, and staff
- Flexibility — we will never over-ask for your time
- Recognition at our annual volunteer appreciation event
Where we work
Our office is at 10 & 12 North Meade Avenue in Colorado Springs. Most volunteer roles are hybrid-friendly — some require being onsite for events, events or program support.
Explore other ways to support
There are many doors into our mission. Whichever one you choose, you will help us build a more inclusive Pikes Peak region.
